At Bishop Rawstorne we believe no one, student or staff, should suffer alone if they feel they have a problem. This week, in tutor time, students have been looking at ways to talk about problems and situations that may be bothering them.
However students were totally unprepared for the Staff Flash Mob on Sports Day highlighting the importance of TALKING!
Over 50 members of staff have been rehearsing, in secret, on Fridays after school, for six weeks to put on today’s spectacular display.
Students were left totally amazed by the dance routine, (choreographed by Mrs Holden) involving cheerleading lifts, pom poms and slick moves.
Staff wore white t-shirts, (organised by Mrs Barr) with messages on, encouraging students to:
‘Shine Like Diamonds’, ‘Be a Person’ ‘Beat It!’ and MIND their Health’.
A fabulous routine, that was fun to do, with a strong message, will hopefully encouraged everyone to talk and share their problems.
