On Thursday 11th November, Mr Hornby, Mrs Walton and five of our Year 9 students took part in the national Remembrance Day commemorations at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London. Our students, Edie Street, Katie Poole, Monica Price, Isabel Gabbett and Charlotte Rayner, laid a wreath during the ceremony on behalf of all staff, students, governors, and parents, alongside members of the armed forces and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, husband of Princess Anne.

This was a fantastic honour for the students, and the school, to be a part of such an important occasion. It was a moving and emotional experience for us all to pay our respects to those that made the ultimate sacrifice during conflicts.
