On Friday 9 February students across school participated in a fun pancake race event to celebrate Shrove Tuesday! The event was an inter-house competition comprised of mixed teams of 4 from each tutor group. The race involved a sprint down the length of the sports hall, with a pancake toss and catch a sprint back and a toss into the waiting runners frying pan; an opportunity for students to get their skills ready for Shrove Tuesday! There was plenty of fun and excellent team spirit from all competitors with the winners as follows:-
Year 7 - 7A 51:97 seconds
Year 8 - 8C 46:84 seconds
Year 9 - 9X 44:94 seconds
Year 10 - 10B 42:84 seconds
Year 11 - 11A 46:02 seconds
